Pensacola Man Indicted on Federal Drug Charges Faces Life in Prison

PENSACOLA, FL. A 33-year-old Pensacola man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on drug trafficking charges after being caught with 286 grams of fentanyl, according to an arrest report.
Jujuan George, a convicted felon, was arrested by police and federal agents after an investigation.
Authorities say that Drug Enforcement Administration officers arrested George on June 17 following a search of a business on Rock Island Place.
The report states officers searched the business after two separate controlled purchases of fentanyl from George using a DEA confidential source.
An arrest report states they recovered 286 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of meth, and six firearms (two stolen) during the search, and he was indicted on Thursday of these charges:
distribution of fentanyl and cocaine
possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana
possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense
possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon
George’s trial is scheduled for Oct. 6. He faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.
George previously spent six years in state prison (2013-19) for carjacking and robbery with a deadly weapon in Escambia County.
