2 Dead-2 Others Shot at Alabama Gas Station

MONTGOMERY, Ala. Two people are dead while two others have been rushed to an area hospital after a shooting at a local gas station.

Montgomery police said that they received multiple calls about shots being fired in the 1300 block of Eastern Boulevard on Saturday, June 22, 2026, at around 6:30 p.m.

Multiple police units were dispatched to the area and officers found that four people had been shot.
Montgomery Fire and EMS also responded to the scene at the Woodmere Raceway gas station just off Interstate 85.

Investigators have reported that they found the bodies of two men including one man not far from the first in the 5600 block of Carmichael Road.

Montgomery police and other law enforcement could be seen spread out over a block from the shooting.

While investigating the two homicides, authorities confirmed two more victims had been taken to area hospitals.

Police are reporting that a man is in critical condition while a woman is suffering non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say that this is an active investigation and that no other information is being released at this time.
