On Tuesday morning, 29, men and woman, raised their right hand, and swore to uphold the laws of the State of Alabama and the Constitution of the United States.
The Mobile Police Department welcomed a new group of police officers from the 76th Police Academy Graduation Ceremony at the Cottage Hill Baptist Church on Cottage Hill Road to their agency.
The officers will most likely be assigned to Training Officer for several months as they learn the City, and the job of being a law enforcement officer.
Several of those who graduated came with degrees in hand, some with other life experience.
All came with excitement and some with a degree of what’s next.
