Irvington Man Arrested After Sending Nude Pictures of Himself to California Teenager

MOBILE, AL. A joint investigation by several law enforcement agencies has concluded with the arrest of an Irvington man.
The investigation began in June after a tip about an online child sex predator and involved law enforcement in Alabama and California.
In fact, law enforcement in Sacramento received11 cyber tips from Instagram and the Sacramento Police Department began investigating and determined that the person behind the screen lived in Mobile County.
Now, the suspect, an Irvington man has been arrested on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, on child exploitation charges following the investigation into online tips involving a minor in California, authorities said.
Kobe Lee Palmer was taken into custody without incident after Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit detectives and Special Operations personnel executed a search warrant at his residence, officials said.
According to the sheriff’s office, Palmer was charged with seven counts of transmitting obscene material to a minor and two counts of electronic solicitation of a child.
Law enforcement said Palmer sent multiple nude and pornographic images of himself to a girl under age 15 in Sacramento and solicited explicit images from her.
Palmer was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail shortly before 8 a.m., jail records show.
