Motorcyclist Dies in Elsanor Traffic Collision

ELSANOR, Ala. A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2026 has claimed the life of a Pinson, Tenn. man.
Brian A. Rhodes, 42, was fatally injured when the 2024 KTM 990 Duke motorcycle he was operating was struck by a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Matthew M. Brown, 47, of Robertsdale.
After the initial impact, Rhodes was thrown from the motorcycle and went into cardiac arrest.
Several area fire departments and EMS responded to the scene and attempted lifesaving measures but he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on U.S. 90 near the 67 mile marker, approximately four miles east of Robertsdale, in Baldwin County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
