Daphne Police Searching For Suspect in Early Morning Stabbing

DAPHNE, Ala. An early morning stabbing in Daphne has left one man in serious condition and a second man on the run from police.

A 911 call about a fight and a stabbing came in at about 12:30 a.m. and officers responded to Adams Avenue early Wednesday morning, July 29, 2026.

The Daphne Fire Department and Medstar were also dispatched to the scene.

During that fight, one man was reportedly stabbed multiple times.

Police have identified the suspect in the stabbing as Robert Marion of Daphne.

DPD said that warrants for first-degree assault against Marion are pending.

The injured man was taken to the hospital, where he is in the intensive care unit.

The investigation is continuing, and additional charges are pending, according to police.
