The first call was dispatched to the Loxley Fire Department for a report of a strong gas odor in the area of 12844 Patriot Way.
A worker nearby called 911 saying that there was a very strong odor in the area but that he did not know exactly where it was coming from.
Upon arrival, firefighters also determined that there was some type of gas smell in the air and notified the local gas company to respond.
A service technician was dispatched to further determine where the smell was coming from.
Later in the day, the Summerdale Fire Department was also called to the Tractor Supply store located at 20438 Highway 59 for a smell of gas.
Firefighters determined that it was a leaking Propane Gas Tank and a technician was sent to assist them as well.
