Police Make Arrest in Shooting After Victim Flees to Whataburger

MOBILE, AL. A shooting where the victim fled and ended up at a local fast-food restaurant has resulted in the arrest of a Theodore man as the shooter.
Mobile Police Department officers responded to the Whataburger on Schillinger Road where a man was brought after being shot.
Officials said they were called to the 8100 block of Huber Road around 5:20 p.m. on June 28 for a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found that the victim had already left the area in a personal vehicle and that EMS was responding to a shooting victim at the restaurant.
According to an MPD news release, 29-year-old Austin Harbison was arrested for his alleged involvement in a shooting.
Police said that the victim was grazed by a bullet at a home on Huber Road, where he and Harbison allegedly had gotten into a fight that the victim initiated.
Harbison has been charged with first-degree assault and booked into the Mobile Metro Jail.
