Baldwin County Grand Jury Indicts Couple on Child Abuse Charges

A couple arrested last year for child abuse has been indicted on several felony charges.

Alec Dvorak and Destini Ott were indicted on charges of child abuse and chemical endangerment of a child that happened between December of 2023 and January 2024.

According to law enforcement, the couple was arrested last year after Dvorak allegedly used a stun gun on a nine-month-old and Ott tried to get rid of the gun, according to deputies.

Ott was charged with tampering with physical evidence and Dvorak was charged on several counts including child abuse and identity theft stemming from a separate incident.

Dvorak has been in custody since the arrest and Ott was arrested on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, and is being held at the Baldwin County Detention Center.
