Three Mobile Police Officers Injured-1 Critical During Stand-Off

UPDATE: Mobile County District Attorney says the two suspects in the midtown standoff were ready to wage war on the police and wanted to die by suicide by cop.
MOBILE, Ala. Three Mobile police officers have been injured, and one is in critical condition after responding to a barricaded incident in the midtown area of the city.
Two people have been arrested in the incident where police responded after reports of gunshots being fired on Sunday.
A Mobile police spokesperson said that the original call came into 911 at around 10 a.m. for a shooting on Tuscaloosa Street.
Police reported that the suspect, 40-year-old Justin Seena, barricaded himself inside a home when officers arrived on the scene.
After a stand-off, police were able to arrest Seena, and a woman that has been identified as 34-year-old Arielle Perrault.
Mobile police officers did not fire their weapons according to Police Chief William Jackson and city officials praised the Mobile Police Department for resolving the issue peacefully.
The other two officers injured were involved in an accident on their way to the scene.
Mobile police said that they are not releasing the wounded officer’s name at this time.
Police are also not releasing any other details of the incident while they continue to investigate.
Both Senia and Perreault are being held in the Metro jail without bond on charges of attempted murder and discharging a firearm into a building or vehicle.
