Student Hit by Car at Spanish Fort High School

A student at the Spanish Fort High School was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, at around 7:33 a.m.

911 received several calls reporting a pedestrian being hit and dispatched police and the fire department, along with a Medstar ambulance to the school.

The student was taken into the school office to access injuries while waiting for an ambulance.

As per protocol and mechanism of injury, a medical helicopter was also dispatched to the school, but we’ve been told they were not needed.

We’ve been told that the student was treated at the school but was not injured.
