Multiple Fire Departments Help Battle Fairhope House Fire
FAIRHOPE Ala.

A call to 911 reporting that a house was on fire in Fairhope brought a large response to 9099 County Road 34 South just before 2 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025.
Calls reported smoke coming from the roof and several occupants were evacuating the residence, but a pet may have been trapped inside.
The Fairhope Fire Department reported heavy smoke coming from the structure when they arrived, and some flames were starting to show.
Automatic Mutual-Aid departments were also sent to the house fire including the Spanish Fort FD, Barnwell FD, Silverhill FD,
Magnolia Springs FD, and Marlow FD.
Fairhope police and EMS were also on-scene.
The home suffered heavy damage and is not habitable at this time.
The fire departments remained on-scene for almost three and a half hours.
The fire remains under investigation.
