Police Investigating After Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle

MOBILE, AL. An elderly man was struck by a vehicle at Government and Ann Streets as he was attempting to cross the street.
Mobile police said that the 65-year-old man was hit by the car at around 7:30 p.m.
Police noted that he was wearing dark clothing at the time and that he was walking across the street while the traffic light was green, giving the vehicle the right-of-way.
Mobile police said that they do not know the extent of injuries to the pedestrian and that the collision remains under investigation.
