Police Charge Man for Shooting Into Vehicles and Homes

MOBILE Ala. On Monday, April 28, 2025, at approximately 7:07 p.m., Mobile police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 6000 block of Barker Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two homes, and four vehicles, were struck by gunfire on Barker Street and nearby James Street.

Police began an investigation and found a person who had been involved in the shooting.

Jerald McCall, 46, was arrested on scene and transported to Metro Jail. He has been charged with shooting into an occupied building/vehicle.

McCall is accused of shooting into two dwellings and four unoccupied vehicles.

No injuries were reported.

This remains an active investigation.
