Man Found Asleep in Stolen Crashed Vehicle

MOBILE, Ala. While on routine patrol, officers in Mobile spotted a man who was asleep behind the wheel of a crashed vehicle.

Police said that the vehicle had crashed into a utility pole in the 5400 block of Highway 90 West around 2 a.m. on Sunday, April 27.

During their investigation, police found that the vehicle had been reported stolen.

Officials said the vehicle had been reported stolen from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction.

Mobile Fire-Rescue reported and treated the man and he was taken to an area hospital.

Officials said this is an ongoing investigation.
