Mobile Police Officer Involved in Crash With Motorcyclist 

MOBILE, Ala.

A mobile police officer was involved in a traffic accident late Wednesday night and at least one person was injured and taken to the hospital.

 A spokesperson for the Mobile Police Department says that the officer was involved in a traffic crash involving a motorcycle near Old Shell Road and Mobile Infirmary Boulevard.

The motorcyclist was injured and taken to a local hospital and a spokesperson stated that the officer was not injured.

At this time, police have not released any further details because the accident is still under investigation.
