Mobile Police Charge Man in Multiple Retail Thefts

MOBILE, AL. A man wanted for multiple retail thefts has been identified and arrested, according to the Mobile Police Department.
Victor Tarrance was identified as one of two men involved in thefts at several stores during an investigation. Police said that he and another person are responsible for thefts at Dollar General stores and several Circle K stores during the past several months.
Police said that two men stole items from Dollar General at 5768 Three Notch Road on Saturday evening. Officers were able to locate him and arrested him on Monday.
MPD said Tarrance has also been charged with three similar incidents last month at two Circle K locations. Those occurred Aug. 9 and Aug. 14 at the store at 5550 U.S. 90, and Aug. 27 at the 5809 U.S. 90 location, MPD said.
Tarrance was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail on one count of organized retail theft and three counts of third-degree retail theft of property. His bond hearing is set for Wednesday, jail records show.
