Mobile County Sheriff Investigators Make Major Drug Bust

MOBILE, AL. On September 10, 2025, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Vice Unit concluded a two-month-long narcotics investigation that resulted in the seizure of a fentanyl operation in the Mobile area.
Throughout the investigation, narcotics investigators gathered intelligence, conducted surveillance, and followed leads that ultimately led them to where the operation was taking place. Their work culminated in the execution of a search warrant at The Crossings at Pinebrook Apartments, as well as a storage unit, where they seized:
* Approximately ten thousand (10,000) suspected fentanyl pills
* 32 cases containing a total of 384 bottles of Promethazine and Codeine syrup
* Approximately 276 grams of suspected “Xanax bars”
* Approximately 1100 grams of marijuana
* One AR-style rifle
* Three handguns
* Various narcotics paraphernalia
* Assorted currency and jewelry illicitly gained through drug trafficking profits.
At this time, the investigation is ongoing, and we will release the identity of all who are involved once the case is complete.
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to protecting the community by disrupting drug trafficking operations and holding accountable those who profit from distributing dangerous narcotics such as fentanyl.
