Fairhope Firefighters Called To Extinguish Vehicle Fire at Walmart

FAIRHOPE, Ala. A vehicle that was on fire and parked close to the Walmart Store at 10040 County Road 48 in Fairhope caught a few people off-guard as flames both burned on the ground and began to engulf the white SUV.
Fairhope police arrived quickly, as did the Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department, and firefighters began to extinguish the fire as it grew closer to the Walmart building, while shoppers began to gather to see what was going on.
Firefighters were able to knock the fire down and completely extinguish it, and were on scene for about forty minutes.
The Fairhope police stated that no one was injured, and the cause of the fire was unknown.
