Mobile County Jury Finds Man Guilty of Murder and Robbery

MOBILE, Ala. A jury in Mobile has found Tre’Vion Collins-Smiley guilty of Murder and Robbery 1st, that was committed in October 2022.
District Attorney Keith Blackwood announced Tuesday that Tre’Vion Collins-Smiley could face lie in prison when he’s sentenced next month.
On October 21, 2022, Triston Bohannon was shot and killed by Collins-Smiley in broad daylight during a robbery in a public park in Chickasaw, Alabama.
District Attorney Keith Blackwood stated: “Today’s conviction holds the defendant accountable for a senseless act of violence. While nothing can undo the loss suffered by the victim’s family, today’s verdict delivers justice.”
