Frisco City Man Dies in Conecuh County Crash

CONECUH COUNTY, Ala. A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:10 a.m. Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, has claimed the life of a Frisco City man.
Ladarius D. Young, 32, was fatally injured when the 2007 Ford Focus he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
Young was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Temple E. Fantroy, 44, of Monroeville, who was a passenger in the Focus, was injured and transported to Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville for treatment.
The crash occurred on Loree Road near Church Road, approximately four miles east of Castleberry, in Conecuh County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
