Foley Police Charge Man With Felony Domestic Violence

FOLEY, Ala. On August 12 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Foley officers responded to the area of Respite Lane in Foley to serve multiple arrest warrants for 39-year-old Carson Vance Mahon of Gulf Shores, as well as a search warrant for his home.
Mahon was taken into custody and is being charged with Domestic Violence 3rd (Menacing), Domestic Violence 3rd (Harassment), Domestic Violence 3rd (Criminal Mischief 3rd), Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm.
Mahon is currently on probation for Breaking and Entering a Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Mahon’s domestic violence charges were upgraded to felonies due to him having prior convictions of Domestic Violence by Strangulation.
