Driver Flees After Flipping Vehicle in Stockton

STOCKTON Ala.

An early morning accident on Sunday sent emergency responders to a rural area of Stockton after someone called 911 reporting a serious accident.

The Stockton Fire Department, EMS and a trooper were dispatched out at 4:02 a.m. for a vehicle rollover on May Tower Road.

When firefighters arrived, the driver had fled and there was no one else found to be in the vehicle or around the area.

ALEA dispatched a trooper from the Atmore area and the fire department stood by the wrecked car for about two hours.

At this time, it is unknown if the driver or anyone else was injured.

ALEA is investigating the incident.
