Daphne Police Charge Woman With Being Fugitive From Justice

DAPHNE, Ala. A woman who is a wanted fugitive from justice is sitting behind bars today waiting to be extricated after police conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation on Tuesday.
Daphne police stopped a vehicle at approximately 1:20 p.m. on US Highway 98 at the service road.
While conducting their investigation, officers discovered that Kanesha Labresha Marie Williams had a quantity of marijuana and placed her under arrest.
During a further investigation, officers found that Williams also had an outstanding arrest warrant and was a fugitive from justice.
Daphne police booked Williams into the city jail on her charges, and extradition is pending.
