Brush Fire Leads to Discovery of Human Remains
BIRMINGHAM, Ala.

The Birmingham Fire Department was called to a brush fire on Tuesday in the 1300 block of 13th Street.
UAB Police also responded to the fire.
The fire was extinguished quickly and once it was out, it led the police to the discovery of skeletal remains.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said that the UAB Police were alerted to the remains in the brush.
The remains have yet to be identified.
The Birmingham Police Department is now investigating the death as an unclassified death.
No other information has been released.
