Arrest Made in Chickasaw Murder

CHICKASAW, AL. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and Chickasaw Police have been conducting a homicide investigation after police found a man dead this week.
The sheriff’s office said that the victim suffered a gunshot wound in the chest.
Now, authorities have taken a 50-year-old Chickasaw man into custody, and he was booked into Mobile County Metro Jail on Christmas Eve.
Boris Cornelius Steele is charged with murder in the killing of a 39-year-old man who was found Tuesday in the area of West Lee Street and Geronimo Street, Sheriff Paul Burch said.
At this time, law enforcement has not said what led up to the shooting.
