ALEA Stops Suspected Kidnappers on I-10
BALDWIN COUNTY Ala.

Alabama law enforcement was notified Saturday evening at around 5:06 p.m., that potential kidnappers were heading into the state via Interstate 10.
According to the information given, the persons in the vehicle had kidnapped a child.
The vehicle was being tracked by someone who assisted in providing the whereabouts of the possible suspects including when the vehicle got off the Interstate in Theodore and then resumed their trip back on I-10 heading eastbound.
Law Enforcement set up near mile marker 40 and pulled the vehicle over as it passed that point, with their guns drawn, taking two people into custody.
Part of I-10 East was shut down for a short time during the incident.
The vehicle was then towed from the scene and the law enforcement officers are continuing their investigation.
