Woman Injured in Mobile House Fire

MOBILE, AL. An overnight fire tore through a home in the 1500 block of Plover Street and injured one person.

 Mobile Fire-Rescue was dispatched to the fire shortly before 4:30 a.m. and found heavy fire showing the structure.

A fire department spokesperson reported that initial reports were that three people were possibly trapped inside of a burning structure with several oxygen tanks present.

MFRD said that two people in the home escaped unharmed.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
