Lovvorn Guilty of Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material Receives 210 Month Prison Sentence

MOBILE, Ala. He was accused and arrested on multiple child pornography charges and later found guilty, now he’s heading to prison.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation after receiving information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about several Kik accounts involving the sexual material in July 2024.

37-year-old Dylan Lovvorn was served with a search warrant and arrested after deputies found four separate instances where Lovvorn was in chat groups agreeing to exchange sexual abuse material with other users.

Now, Lovvorn has been sentenced to 210 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to four counts of distribution of child pornography.

As a result of the sentencing, Lovvorn must undergo mental health, substance abuse, and sex offender treatment while in prison.

Once he is released, according to the sentencing guidelines, he’ll also serve 15 years of supervised release, he must register as a sex offender, will not be allowed to contact minors, and is subject to restrictions on the internet.
