Foley Police Investigating After Woman Bit by Dog Pack

FOLEY, Ala. On September 20, 2026, Foley Police Department officers responded to the 13000 block of McGaster Trail regarding a reported dog bite.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult female who had sustained multiple bites from aggressive canines. Emergency medical services transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

During the preliminary investigation, officers determined that the victim and the dogs’ owner, Nikeyl Jones (33) of Foley, reside at the same address. Authorities accounted for five Pit Bull-type canines at the scene. Due to their ongoing aggressive behavior and immediate safety concerns, two of the canines were euthanized on scene, and the remaining three were seized.

This incident follows multiple prior animal-related complaints involving this address. Jones had recently appeared in court regarding issues stemming from these same animals.

Jones is being charged under the violations section of Emily’s Law, a Class C felony. Emily’s Law is a state statute that sets a formal legal process for investigating unprovoked dog attacks and holding owners criminally accountable. Jones is also being charged with one count of Reckless Endangerment, a Class A misdemeanor.

At this time, the Foley Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Jones, as he has been uncooperative during this investigation. If you know where Nikeyl Jones is, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
