Wanted Fugitive Arrested During Traffic Stop in Bay Minette

BAY MINETTE Ala. A wanted fugitive was stopped on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, by an ALEA trooper as the driver was heading down E1st Street.

The trooper spotted a traffic infraction and conducted a traffic stop near Hand Avenue and learned that the driver, Roy Williams, had an outstanding felony arrest warrant.

Bay Minette Police and additional troopers responded to the scene and took Williams into custody.

William was transported to the county detention center.
