A man wanted for a serious crime has surrendered himself to law enforcement.
Devon Traywick has been wanted for arson and burglary and the police have been looking for him but suddenly Traywick voluntarily turned himself in according to the Mobile police.
He was the ex-boyfriend who broke into a woman’s house they believe with the intent of committing carbon monoxide poisoning. Surveillance video footage from inside the home captured the act, they said.
Police said that he was identified on the camera footage where he is seen committing an overt act and attempted to cause a fire and/or explosion.
Traywick is charged with second-degree attempted arson, second-degree burglary, driving with an expired tag, and driving with a suspended license, jail records say.
