Accidents on I-10 Injures Several People

After a day of wrecks, brush fires, and medical emergencies along Interstate 10 on Thursday, Friday would also see several more wrecks with injuries in the Daphne and Spanish Fort areas.

One three-vehicle wreck in Spanish Fort backed up traffic for quite a ways and injured one person while in another wreck further eastbound on I-10 a medical helicopter had to be called in to transport an injured person that was involved in that accident.

On most days, area fire departments between the Mobile city limits and the Florida state line are called to respond to I-10 emergencies several times and on some days, many times, and most of these fire departments are supported totally by volunteers.
