Vehicle Rollover Involving Dump Truck in Spanish Fort Injures Several Persons

SPANISH FORT, Ala. A wreck involving a dump truck and a passenger vehicle partially closed Spanish Fort Boulevard Monday morning just before 7 a.m.
It happened right in front of the Spanish Fort City Hall, located at 7361 Spanish Fort Blvd.
The Spanish Fort Police, Fire Department, and ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
A medical helicopter was also dispatched.
According to reports, a dump truck slammed into the back of a vehicle and overturned, trapping at least one person inside.
Spanish Fort firefighters used extrication equipment to free the trapped and injured person.
The wreck remains under investigation.
