Two Serious Wrecks in Foley Have Injured 8 People

FOLEY, Ala. Two serious motor vehicle traffic collisions in Foley Tuesday evening have injured eight people including four teenagers.
At approximately 6:20 p.m., the Foley police and ALEA troopers responded to a traffic collision where one vehicle had rolled over entrapping several people.
The Foley Fire Department and EMS also responded to the area of County Road 20 near South Hickory Street.
Several people were extricated from the vehicle, and a total of four people were injured according to fire personnel.
A medical helicopter was called to the scene and transported one individual to an area trauma center.
ALEA is continuing their investigation.
While authorities were completing their investigation into this wreck, another serious traffic collision was reported just shortly after 7 p.m.
Firefighters, EMS and Foley police responded to another rollover crash. This one involved an ATV containing four teenagers.
Upon arrival, firefighters assisted in the rescue of the teens and authorities said that all were injured.
Once again, a medical helicopter was called to the scene because of the serious nature of the injuries to at least two of the teens.
The condition of the people injured in both crashes is unknown.
Foley police said that they are continuing their investigation.
