Truck Driver Charged in Deadly Thomasville Wreck Pleads Guilty

CLARKE COUNTY, AL. A horrific traffic collision that killed two people and injured four others in May of 2025, after the driver of a truck crashed into multiple vehicles resulted in the arrest of Andrii Dmyterko.
Thomasville police charged Dymyerko after the deadly wreck on Highway 43 with several misdemeanor and felony charges.
The crash killed Woodie Beck, Ashley McDonald, and injured four others.
This week, Dmyterko pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of criminally negligent homicide, according to court documents.
He will receive a two-year sentence for both counts and jail credit for one year and 65 days.
Dymyerko, a Ukrainian immigrant was legally in the country on a U.S. work visa, authorities stated.
