Trooper Makes Drug Bust During Traffic Stop

A state trooper running radar and monitoring traffic near Bay Minette pulled over a vehicle for
a traffic infraction and while talking with the driver detected the odor of cannabis.

The trooper conducted an investigation and found a considerable amount in the vehicle.

Bay Minette Police and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Officer were dispatched to assist the trooper
and assist in the arrest.

Two occupants of the vehicle were arrested and transported to the county jail.
