Trooper Makes Drug Arrest After Traffic Infraction

BALDWIN COUNTY Ala. An ALEA trooper on patrol noticed a driver committing a traffic infraction at around 1:45 p.m. and stopped the vehicle on US Highway 31.
The driver, Anthony Bernard Jenkins, 42, was also identified to be wanted by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office on outstanding warrants.
During a probable cause search of the Dodge Charger, the trooper found a substantial amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Jenkins was arrested and transported to the Baldwin County Detention Center.
He was charged with:
Possession of Marijuana 2nd
Drug Paraphernalia
Jenkins was later released on a bond.
