Timber Company Employee Killed in Mobile County Workplace Incident

MOBILE COUNTY, AL. A worker at a Mobile area business was killed during an accident on Monday, September 28, 2026, according to authorities.
Although the name of the person has not been released, we know that he was caught in a piece of industrial machinery at the Camfor Timber Company which is located off Highway 43 in the Bucks community.
The Turnerville Volunteer Fire Department, Mobile Fire Rescue High Angle Response and EMS crews were called to help the volunteer firefighters at around 9:20 a.m.
Law enforcement also responded to the scene.
In workplace deaths, the federal investigators from Occupational Safety and Health Administration respond and investigate the cause and determine if there were safety hazards or violations of the workplace safety laws.
