Single Vehicle Collision Kills Wilcox County Man

WILCOX COUNTY, Ala. Authorities say that a man from Wilcox County was involved in a fatal crash in the early hours of Sunday morning.

ALEA said that 25-year-old Fredrick D. Kennedy Jr. was fatally injured after his car left the road and struck both a utility pole and a tree.

The single vehicle traffic collision happened around 1 a.m. on Alabama 41 just south of Camden.

Emergency responders including firefighters and EMS were dispatched to the scene as well.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
