Several Persons Injured in Thanksgiving Day Wreck on Foley Beach Express

A multiple-vehicle collision during Thanksgiving evening injured several people and shut down
part of the Foley Beach Express.

Authorities responded to the wreck near County Road 12 shortly after 5 p.m.

Police, the Foley Fire Department, and several ambulances responded to the scene after the Baldwin County Communications Center received several calls reporting the crash.

Witnesses reported seeing several medical helicopters also landing in the area.

The condition of the injured persons currently is not known.
