Seminole Man Shot During Dispute-Shooter Arrested

On Thursday, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a man shot at a residence on Wayburn Rd in the Seminole Community of unincorporated Baldwin County where deputies found one person suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

BCSO deputies say upon arriving they found the victim in the front yard of a residence suffering from a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

During their investigation, deputies found that the shooting victim and Jason Anthony Hall had a disagreement and an altercation over a debt owed to the victim by Hall and that’s when Hall then shot the victim.

Hall surrendered to deputies after their arrival and admitted to shooting the victim.

Hall has been charged with Assault 1st degree, and he had outstanding preexisting warrants for Failure to Appear on the charges of possession of an altered firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
