Saraland Man Killed in US 43 Crash

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. A two-vehicle crash that happened at approximately 8:45 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, has claimed the life of a Saraland man.
The crash occurred on U.S. 43 near the 10-mile marker, approximately one mile south of the Creola city limits, in Mobile County.
Area firefighters, EMS, and law enforcement responded to the collision.
Jason A. Stanley, 48, was fatally injured when the 2002 Jeep Wrangler he was driving was struck by the 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLK 350 driven by Nora T. Smith, 70, of Satsuma.
After the initial impact, the Jeep left the roadway and overturned. Stanley was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected, and pronounced deceased at the time.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
