ORANGE BEACH, AL. The Orange Beach Police and Fire Departments are inviting you to enjoy a day of fun and free food while connecting with local first responders and neighbors.
The event will take place at Orange Beach Waterfront Park. Organizers say the gathering is designed to strengthen relationships within the community.
The cookout takes place on Saturday, November 8th from 11am until 1pm at Waterfront Park. This event has become an annual tradition in Orange Beach.
Attendees can expect a menu featuring classic cookout favorites. Burgers and hot dogs will be available along with all the traditional fixings. The meal is completely free for everyone who attends. No registration or tickets are required to participate in the event.
Everyone is welcome at the free afternoon event in a casual atmosphere that will make it easy for residents to approach and talk with officers and firefighters.
Events like this cookout allow first responders to interact with residents outside of emergency situations. Officers and firefighters will be available to answer questions and chat with attendees. The goal is to create positive experiences that strengthen trust between residents and local heroes.
Both the police and fire departments see the cookout as an important tradition. These events help break down barriers between first responders and the people they serve. Sharing a meal together creates opportunities for meaningful conversations. Organizers believe these personal connections make the entire community stronger and safer.
