Rollover 18-Wheeler Shuts Down Parts of US 43

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ala. An eighteen-wheeler rollover involving two vehicles shut down part of U.S. 43 near Alabama 56 Monday evening just before 5 p.m.
State troopers-Fire EMS and other emergency responders were dispatched to the wreck that also involved a passenger vehicle.
The flatbed truck was carrying a roll of steel that weighed over forty-thousand pounds, which complicated the recovery of the truck on its side.
According to authorities there were only minor injuries.
ALEA is continuing to investigate.
