Prichard Police, Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide

PRITCHARD Ala. On June 8, 2025, at approximately 5:18 am, The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and Prichard Police Department responded to 922 First Ave, Prichard AL, in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, MCSO Deputies located Willie Huey Smith (DOB 03/17/84) deceased beside his vehicle on the street in front of 922 First Ave.
Several witnesses in the area were interviewed by MCSO and stated they heard several gunshots fired at around 5:00 am.
One of Mr. Smith’s neighbors saw Willie lying next to his vehicle and called 911.
