Forged Instrument Lands Two Men In Jail

MOBILE Ala. The Mobile Police Department dispatched several police officers to the Regions Bank on June 5th, 2025, to investigate a bank fraud.
When officers arrived at 2000 Dauphin Island Parkway, employees of the bank explained that two men presented a fraudulent check.
The police detained Arkel Washington-Thompson, 20, and Barnard Jones, 21, while they investigated further.
Both men were arrested and transported to the Mobile County Metro Jail.
they have been charged with Possession of a Forged Instrument and, Theft of Property 2nd Degree.
