Prichard Man Charged in 2 Shootings at Local Stores

CREOLA, AL. The Creola Police Department has announced the arrest of 32-year-old Jarad Williams who fired shots at people he’s argued with in two different stores and then fled.
He’s charged with reckless endangerment and two counts of shooting into an occupied building/vehicle in these incidents.
Investigators say that after having a verbal confrontation Raceway gas station on Highway 43. on Christmas Day.
“Police found that a car had been shot and also one round had struck the building,” said Stringer. “One of the rounds went through the headrest on the vehicle.”
Stringer says the suspect bought Copenhagen dip and exchanged words with another person he didn’t know in the store. Stringer says the suspect then went to a SUV parked at a pump, pulled out a handgun and fired at that person’s car. Stringer says multiple people were sitting in it. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
“It’s a high-powered pistol. It’s a 5.7, which is a very high-powered round that he’s firing,” said Stringer.
Satsuma Police Chief Troy Wilcutt said that Williams also fired shots at a Dollar General store in his city.
Chief Wilcutt says the suspect had words with someone in the store, then followed that person to Generations Church on Bayou Ave and fired shots. No one was hurt.
“It’s very alarming and just concerning that we have somebody that appears to be coming to these stores, agitating an altercation between someone, and then going out and getting a firearm out of the car. You don’t see that a lot, you know. So, this is very erratic behavior and very alarming,” said Stringer.
Stringer says the suspect was driving a black Jaguar crossover SUV with a dealer tag on the front that says 1Price during the incidents
