6 Fire Departments Sent to Loxley Structure Fire

LOXLEY, AL. A fire was reported to 911 Monday morning, January 5, 2026, at around 9:30 sending multiple fire departments to the scene on Barlow Road in the Loxley area.
The caller said that a large building was on fire.
The first arriving fire engine reported heavy fire from a dwelling and potential hazards after being made aware of possible propane tanks inside.
Fire departments from Loxley, Robertsdale, Summerdale, Silverhill, Fairhope and Belforest, were added to the mutual aid call out to the fire located at 15790 Barlow Road.
Two RV’s were also said to be on fire.
Firefighters were on scene for almost three hours extinguishing the fire and conducting overhaul of the fire area.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
