Power Outages Hit Mobile and Baldwin Counties During Sunday’s Storms

The storms that passed through our area on Sunday left a few residents without power for a short time.

As of noon Sunday, the Daphne area had more than 20 people without power according to the Riviera Utilities Company.
At 3:00 p.m., those numbers went up two-fold.

The Baldwin EMC Power Outage Map reported about 10 outages during the same time.

Mobile had 39 active outages with 355 customers affected, 78 customers were affected in an area near Old Shell Road and Tuthill Lane according to the power company’s map.

At 5:15 p.m., Alabama Power reported 855 power outages in their system.
